Harvest embarks on research trip to provide customer insight

Southampton-based wholesaler Harvest recently undertook research visits to its suppliers in the local area, with the intention of filming their produce on site in order to provide insight to their foodservice customer base.

Marketing manager Julie Widdall captured drone footage on a recent trip to the Isle of Wight to better understanding the process of Isle of Wight Tomatoes, seasonal vegetable producer Browns, as well as the Isle of Wight Garlic farm.

“We are proud to to work with some of the finest local growers and producers, from small specialists to award winning farms and market gardeners, “ explained Widdal. “We stock a whole range of fresh and ambient products from Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and the Isle of Wight.

Harvest is the current holder of Smaller Wholesaler of the year at the FWD Gold Medals and it recently alos s invested in its vehicle fleet late last year.
