Confex recently held its first ever Foodservice Fair, as part of a wider strategy to increase its presence in the market following the growth in its membership and the launch of its Core own brand.
The event started with presentations from Confex’s senior leadership team, followed by a trade which consisted of 37 suppliers showcasing their products.

“The Confex team were as passionate and help as ever. They fully engaged before, during and after the show to ensure members were aware of our deals and NPD. The first ever Confex foodservice show allowed us to cook off our NPD and spend quality time with targeted members,” said Martin of Nestle Professional.
Deckers Group managing director Andrew Waller, said: “We found the event well organised form start to finish and a very good location regarding parking and accessibility. We thought all the presenters were very knowledgeable and their content was to the point and very topical. The hospitality in terms of food throughout the day and evening was excellent.
“The event gave me the opportunity to talk to key members both new and current. The Confex team created a welcoming environment at a great venue. If you’re serious about foodservice, then this is a show not to miss,” added Stephen Shilling, business development manager for Hills Biscuits.
