Caterforce has revealed the latest developments to its Chefs’ Selections product range, with the buying group continuing to reduce salt content in Chefs’ Selections products to align with Public Health England’s 2024 targets, as well as eliminating palm oil from further products in its range.

“We are committed to driving innovation and reformulation right across our range, setting the standard in the foodservice sector,” said Joanna Halucha, head of wn Brand, Buying & Technical, Caterforce. “Our focus is on creating products that not only align with evolving public health guidance but also deliver on the flavour, quality, and value our customers expect.”

Halucha explained: “These new, improved products ensure customers can continue to enjoy the same flavourful and value-driven products, while benefitting from improved nutritional standards,” said Halucha. “Together, these latest changes mean that Chefs’ Selections has now eliminated more than 15.6 tonnes of salt across the range to date. This reflects Caterforce’s commitment to enabling caterers and customers to make healthier choices without sacrificing taste, quality, or value.”
