Love is in the air at Parfetts Aintree depot where two colleagues agreed to tie the knot last week.
Depot veteran Tony seized the opportunity after receiving an award for his 35-years of service to the wholesaler by proposing to his partner Carol at the cash and carry this week.
The betrothed met more than a decade ago through their work at the Aintree Parfetts depot in Merseyside.
A Parfetts spokesperson said: “We had a truly unforgettable moment during Aintree’s service awards where our very first in-depot proposal took place… A massive congratulations to Tony and Carol on their engagement, and to Tony for an incredible 35 years of dedication and service to Parfetts.”
