An online wholesaler “built by retailers, for retailers” is to launch next year, promising to understand the needs of fellow store owners.
SV Retail is being launched by Amrit Singh Pahal, of H & Jodie’s Nisa in Walsall. Promoting the upcoming service on social media, the retailer said: “After decades on the shop floor, we realised/ something important: retailers needed a supplier who actually understood their needs.
“The trends, the demand cycles, the pressure to move fast and the reality of running a store day to day. [These are] things only someone with lived experience can truly get.

“That’s when we decided to take everything we learned – the highs, the challenges, the viral moments and the decades of retail experience – and build something new. That’s how SV Wholesale was born – built by retailers, for retailers.”
A report released by SV Wholesale this month suggested the new venture will help retailers with viral products. It said matcha drinks, Angel Hair chocolate and south-Asian products were among those that saw increased demand this year.
Singh Pahal launched his first wholesale business, H & Jodie’s Wholesale, which stocked trending vape and confectionery products, in 2023.
