TWC awarded Unitas data contract

Data and insights firm, The Wholesale Company (TWC), has been awarded the exclusive contract to Unitas Wholesale to manage the buying group’s wholesale shipment data.

The new Unitas Data Service will lanch early next year and combine shipment data from former Landmark and Today’s members via one reporting dashboard. Work has commenced to combine the two data sets as well as to enhance some of the user functionality on the Unitas Data Service dashboards.

Chief executive and co-founder Tanya Pepin, said: “It’s almost a year since Landmark and Today’s came together to create a £8.5bn turnover buying group of over 170 wholesalers. We are delighted to have won the contract to become Unitas Wholesale’s data partner.

“Everyone within TWC is passionate about the industry and wants to help the group’s wholesalers, in collaboration with its suppliers, to build strategies based on quality data and intelligent insight to drive sustainable sales and profitable growth,” she explained.

John Mills, deputy managing director for Unitas Wholesale added: “The TWC’ team lives and breathes wholesale, particularly independent wholesale, which means it is a great cultural fit with Unitas. We were impressed by the company’s ability to analyse data and provide valuable insight, in addition to a ground-breaking reporting solution.”
