A new symbol group called MyDaily has launched in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, with recruitment targeted at independent retailers.

The first store under the new fascia operated by O’Reilly’s Wholesale is set to be opened by retailers Greene’s of Lurgan in Northern Ireland. Mock-up images for the new format indicate a focus on fresh coffee and deli foods, alongside staple convenience goods and fresh produce.

Commenting on the launch of its new symbol group, O’Reilly’s Wholesale said: “MyDaily represents a fresh chapter for convenience retail in Ireland, built on our promise of convenience you can depend on. As the rollout continues, we look forward to partnering with independent retailers to deliver outstanding service and value to communities nationwide. Greene’s in Lurgan is currently under construction to become one of our very first MyDaily locations.

“We’ll be popping up across the island of Ireland in the coming months, making it easier than ever to grab what you need, when you need it. Here’s to exciting times ahead as MyDaily grows – bringing dependable convenience to communities across Ireland.”

MyDaily isn’t the first symbol group operated by the wholesaler – the firm signed the first store to its One 2 Shop fascia in 2015.
