The Henderson Group has improved warehouse efficiency and accuracy following the installation of a new inventory framework.
Henderson chose Zetes’ Full Pallet Inventory (FPI) after facing challenges such as misplaced pallets, stock inaccuracies, and slow inventory counts, which led to delays, increased labour costs, and difficulty maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Philip Mehaffey, logistics director at Henderson Foodservice, said: “We’ve collaborated with Zetes for over 20 years, continuously integrating new supply chain technologies to optimise our warehouse operations. The Full Pallet Inventory solution has transformed our inventory control while ensuring business continuity. The project was based initially on a three-year projection, but the return was delivered within two years, one year ahead of plan.”

“Our relationship with Henderson Group exemplifies the impact of digital transformation in logistics. The machine vision FPI solution offers fast, precise, and scalable inventory management, keeping customers ahead in today’s evolving supply chain,” said Robert Van Vliet, General Manager at Zetes.
Henderson Group operates five large warehouses that serve Henderson Wholesale, which supplies independent and company-owned stores, and Henderson Foodservice, which caters to restaurants, hotels, and schools.
