Hancocks closes Dundee facility

Hancocks has made the decision to close its Dundee depot, bringing the total of permanent closures to five since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

The wholesaler closed its Coventry, Stoke, Croydon and Reading depots back in May, citing the changing nature of the business and a move to online ordering as reasons for the decision.

With 14 cash and carries still open around the country, the wholesaler has confirmed that this brings to an end its re-structuring plan with no further store closures planned.
