Global wholesaler Pricecheck has been included on the London Stock Exchange Group’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report for a second consecutive year.

Now on its sixth edition, the report celebrates the UK’s fastest growing businesses across a range of sectors. In order to be selected, businesses had to demonstrate not only positive revenue growth over the past three years, but also outperform sector peers.

Mark Lythe, joint managing director of Pricecheck, said: “We are very proud to be named as one of the companies. It is another milestone on our fantastic growth journey. We have continued to invest in the very best people, training, and technology to help drive Pricecheck forward, as we strive towards our bold plans for growth over the coming years.”

The business, which has customers ranging from high street stores to pharmacy chains and other wholesalers, has set a turnover target of £200m by 2025.

David Schwimmer, chief executive of the London Stock Exchange Group, added: “Congratulations to all the companies selected for inclusion in the sixth edition of our report, which identifies the UK’s most dynamic SMEs. These drive growth, innovation and job creation, and are the lifeblood of the British economy. We believe that supporting the growth of these businesses is critical to the UK economy and the creation of a society that works for everyone.”
