KeyStore to run Christmas radio campaign

Convenience group KeyStore is running a Christmas radio campaign, aimed to raise awareness of its stores to help encourage footfall over the festive period.

The 12Ks of Christmas campaign, to be broadcasted on Radio Clyde, will deliver key messages to consumers as well as offering the chance to win prizes, including the chance to win £12,000.

Sales and marketing director of Glasgow-based wholesaler JW Fishill, Ian McDonald said: “This will be the second year we’ve teamed up with Radio Clyde for this campaign.”

“It was extremely effective and Filshill experienced an excellent uplift in sales with retailers definitely benefiting from increased footfall during the period of the campaign, thanks to the regular promotional trailers on Radio Clyde and every presenter mentioning KeyStore live on air.”

This year’s campaign will promote deals from a range of brands, including Irn-Bru, Pringles and Foster’s.

Mr McDonald added: “Last year’s campaign saw Radio Clyde reach 34% of people within the station’s transmission area, with each listener hearing the KeyStore name and key messages 8.9 times.”

“What’s more, almost 68,000 texted in for a chance to win the £12,000 – we’re confident of even greater consumer engagement this year.”
